Welcome to Empowering Faith
As a new member, we hope you have a long term strong association with us and our group. We pray that you will avail the benefits of empowering your faith and build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Before I begin, let's be clear about the definition of faith. (Faith); is a strong belief in God based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof. So, you need to open your mind and heart and allow Christ into your life.
Cleanse your mind and heart, renew your life and realign your direction of travel. Learn not to be of the world, but of God. Learn the teachings of Jesus Christ, come to understand the precious loving sacrifice, He made for your life, - and "Why".
The ways of the world and the dominion that men have over other men, have destroyed the foundation of what God truly wanted for our life. None of us were created to become rulers of other men, or have dominion over one another. God makes this very clear in Genesis;
Genesis 1:26
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.
1:27 "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
The Word proclaims mankind, both male and female, in the image and likeness of God. "Image means representative figure. The man and woman were the beginning place for Him to reveal Himself--His image--on the earth.
Genesis 1:28 Then God blessed them, God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living
creature that moves on the earth.
God is speaking to both when He commands them to multiply, subdue and have dominion. Dominion is over the creatures, not each other. It is also important to note that subdue, kabash in Hebrew, indicates that there is something in the earth that is hostile and must be conquered. (Beware)
